Summer Recipessszzz *nap*
Summer is gone! Well, kind of. It’s gotten a bit chillier in The ‘Kyo (that’s Tokyo, Kyle) recently, so I thought I might celebrate the demise of summer by showing you all what I was cooking throughout it…
Pan-Roasted Salmon with Wild Mushrooms
Sesame Tuna with Lime Mash
Salsa-style Fusilli
Basil-Wrapped Salmon with Zucchini Pesto Tagliatelle
Quick, “Indoor” BBQ Corn on the Cob
Annnd to finish, I’ve been doing a lot of this recently (click for larger versions):
(hair growing back nicely, btw)
No, I don’t mean taking meticulously staged pictures of myself (which I am more or less constantly doing anyway) - I’m talking about working at home, something I find myself doing much more often these days. I’ve set up a little home office:

Behold, the 3rd world hospital industrial chic of my bare concrete walls! Well, I guess “office” is perhaps stretching the definition slightly. I have a desk. And a stool! It’s actually looking rather spiffy and minimalist in that picture but already less than two weeks later that shiny glass desk is now riddled with coffee cans, beer bottles and sweaty marks from my coding sessions that run on into the wee hours of the morning. It’s like having a giant PSP screen for a table - this thing just attracts every possible kind of greasy mark my body can secrete, some of which I am pretty sure are new to medical science.
UPDATE! Added a pic of my kitchen as it is clean. Something of a rare occurrence seeing as I am, for the most part, a filthy, filthy animal, letting my cooker top get caked in grease, plates pile up in the sink and letting my stools drop where they may.
