Gong Xi Fa Chai, Kong Hee Fat Choy, Gung Hei Fat Choi.

Chinese has too many dialects.

Hope all of you who might be celebrating are having a splendid time.

  1. Happy New Year to you, Yongfook. Do you speak any dialects? (Either fluently or not so fluently?)

  5. happy lunar new year…that is the correct and ‘now’ terminology isn’t it? help me out - i have been flying around correcting people because i do believe the new year celebration is celebrated in more places than just china…am i right? or am i way off? i have also been singing d-o-g-woof to the tune of bingo (you know there was a farmer had a dog and bingo was his name o b-i-n-g-o) just to completely alienate myself happy year of the dog!

  10. Happy Chinese New Year. Now all the people who work in factories for $.10 (US) a day making Mardi Gras beads for people who used to live in in what’s left of New Orleans to show their bare tits and get thrown the beads, they wind up throwing in the trash, can crowd onto their toilet free trains to ride home for two weeks to see their families who live in dirt poor housing and they can all eat stir fried grass. Life’s a ball for most of China! by the way, the people who make the beaded necklaces have no idea of their future use. Sorry for the rant - sometimes life’s a big shit sandwich and every day you take another bite.
