However, it retails for $600 anyway so you could actually get the 18-55 kit AND the 17-85 lens separately for the same price as the 17-85 kit. Although there wouldn't be much point in that as there is too much range overlap so you'll essentially have 2 similar range lenses but one with much better optics...</p> <p>Up to you.</p> Hmm.
