Still really REALLY don’t have time for anything other than these crappy, short posts
But anyhow, look at what I bought!
I am now the smarmy, shit-eating-grinned owner of a Canon 20D and a beautiful, black Yamaha SV200 Silent Violin (basically an electric violin).
Unfortunately I don’t actually have much time to use them at the moment. But hopefully in the near future you can expect something cool from me music-wise, thanks to my new electric violin. And the camera, well it is better than my previous one but fundamentally, it has the ability to shoot at speeds similar to a motor-drive 35mm, making a K-CHUNG K-CHUNG K-CHUNG K-CHUNG sound which frankly gets me very hard indeed.

lovely shots - particularly the second violin one - i hope you find the time to enjoy what you’ve worked so hard to own.
What a beautiful instrument!
Congrats on your other new purchase too.
omg.. you got that violin? i can’t believe it.. i want one too!! i want one since last year!! isn’t it a bit pricey though? where did you got the money from? and may i have your old camera?? you are not going to use it right?? since you got a nicer one..
Looking forward to your new musical compositions with your new toy! Nice shots of the violin.
prettyyyyy
Y’all and your crazy ebow - but you bought a freaking EOS? You are just trying to get me all hot.
nice violin…very nice, good score!
Oh my god. The violin… turns… me… SO… on.
beautiful, elegant, what more can i say? i tried my cousin’s violin and i sounded not bad. but not my instrument.
did you take your new violin piccies with your new camera? :P Love how the violin silhouette melts in with the shadows on the first photo too. Aha! It’s sexy because it reminds me of long black hair flowing over bedsheets. p.s. isn’t it a bit weird playing the new violin when there’s massive hole in the middle of it?
looked at this camera for my bro for xmas - saw w/ 17-85 mm lens and 18-55 mm lens - first approx $1700 USD/second was $1100 USD (plus tax of course). Do you think it’s worth the difference in price?
Hmm. The second lens (18-55) is basically Canon’s standard kit lens and it’s not outstanding. It’s a good starter lens, but nothing more. The 17-85 is a better lens for sure. However, it retails for $600 anyway so you could actually get the 18-55 kit AND the 17-85 lens separately for the same price as the 17-85 kit. Although there wouldn’t be much point in that as there is too much range overlap so you’ll essentially have 2 similar range lenses but one with much better optics…
Up to you.
holy crap, that violin is delicious! it made me think “i’m living in the FUTURE!” now, to convince attractive people that cellophane is a good fashion fabric….
your gonna go nuts with that 20D and your naked torso aren’t you?
that’s a fucking bueaitufil violin.
dude, record and let us hear how it sounds.
Your job must pay well I presume.
it must be bonus time in Tokyo to drop about $3,000 (USD)-but how much can a young techie make? Hope Yongfook saved enough to Mommy, Daddy, siblings and friends xmas presents. Hey - and how about me? I want a present too, dammit!
Brill, no sooner do I mention it than you’re on the case. This is much better than TV - I think the 21st century is my favourite one so far.
Has anyone ever asked you to ‘Fook off’?
Yamaha does pretty good with the silent violins, and the ol’ silent guitar. Was going to get me one too.
Wow Rah… I’ll give you a cookie for being so creative.
Dude, can a violin really help you to get them chicks? I mean, I’ve got a banjo with a majorly long Banjo Cord, and I’m thinking of getting a violin too, now that I’ve seen yours.
that is one damn beautiful and gorgeous violin. =)
ur violin is absolutely gorgeous. =)
The violin is hottt. Can’t wait to hear the music, if you have a spare minute
wow these are beautiful images!
I am considering purchasing the same instrument (violin. I am interested what you think of it. Your website was a surprise and quite fun! Regards, Rebecca
