Wow... Alot of ps3 fanboys here. PS3 man the har drive does matter, It lets you run games smoother since it doesnt just use the dvd drive. It also lets you patch games that might have been shipped with bugs or to balance gameplay online. Seems foolish for a ps3 NOT to ship with a hard drive. Many developers have already said that the 360 and PS3 will be slightly if at all different in graphics(even the creater of Metal Gear Solid said that the xbox 360 would have no problems runnig it). Most gamers I know will buy at least two systems. I dont understand why you would want to be limit yourself to just one system.

Oh and go back to school. You desperately need it. I'm sure half the posters here are you. You sound like net kiddies.
