I’ve been extraordinarily busy lately, what with it being the end of term and all. JET friends are getting ready to leave, the rest of us have to prepare for the new arrivals, end-of-term classes loom around the corner and of course, my new “different animals all having sex with each other” origami side project is taking up a considerable amount of time. Anyway as usual I have taken it upon myself to make something AWESOME and r0×0rz for the kids to end the term on a good note so they don’t break into my house over the holidays and beat me to death with textbooks whilst screaming “ENGLISH IS THE DIE! ENGLISH IS THE DIE!”.
So yeah, I got all over excited and decided to make coloured rice crispy treats arranged in the colours of the Union Jack for the 4 classes at my main school, only to find that - now that the cogs are in motion and I refuse to adopt any other idea - I can’t actually get the main ingredients in this mountainous cesspool of backwardsness we call Hitoyoshi-Kuma County. So I’m going to have to improvise. I already had a go with some cornflakes but I think I compacted them too much or something as the resultant brick of marshmallow, butter, cornflake and chocolate (all so tightly packed that it was like a kind of candy dark matter - “each pound weighs over 1000 pounds!”) almost broke my jaw off when I tried to bite into it.
When I regained consciousness, I thought I’d better stick something up on my site as it has been a while since I updated. Seeing as how I don’t actually have anything to SAY though, I’ll just give you a couple more songs. “Whoop De Fricking Bat Turd” I hear you cry, whilst you sit on your throne of purest saffron and the entire world rotates around you.
