Got a mobile phone
There are no suitable words in any of the known languages of the world that can possibly describe my complete and utter elation at this point in time.
Me and my supervisor have just come back from the DoCoMo shop. I am now the inanely grinning owner of a Japanese mobile phone. Enough said, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
Today I was given some advice by my supervisor, in the form of a series of gestures. The crux was “nursery school children like to poke their fingers up your bum, so walk around with your cheeks tightly clenched whenever you visit the nursery”. This bit of wisdom may just save me some dignity and / or surgery.
Tomorrow I am going on a 3 day orientation in Kumamoto city, which will be a nice change of pace from my current setting. I probably wont be able to get online, so see you in a few days time.
